He Is a Hero For You and A Villain For Me

I was re-reading the book, “The Diary Of a Young Girl” today after a long time. I read it last when I was in the 10th grade. It was like a need that I had to read the book. For my exams at that time.

It was definitely something that bad at that time, we can’t even imagine.

A thirteen-year-old girl, expressing how she is feeling, and how her family and her community had to suffer for a big time. And then it ends horribly.

Anne Frank

It was the time of 1942 when she started writing all of this. She had a bright future ahead. She might have become a great writer or something. At the age of thirteen, she had been studying English, and French, and reading many books.

She mentioned in her diary, that how Jews were being forcefully taken out from their houses, not having any mercy on anyone, even if it was a woman, expected mother, children, or an old person.

Those people lived in fear all their lives. They were hiding in secret hiding places. Any knock on their main door would make their body go white.

Heroes for Some, Villains for Some

Adolf Hitler. How did he become so powerful? Becoming a hero for some, he executed his holocaust. His hate for Jews led to this disaster. How easy it is to become a hero for someone. Did he ever have a good side? Why does it matter? Right? What he did was enough to show his behavior in front of everyone.

Genocide of more than 6 million European Jews. How were his followers okay with all this? How can anyone’s follower, who is like this, be okay with all this?

You see where hate can take us all. Hate makes us influence people, and helps us to put that hate in other’s minds as well.

Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Winston Churchill, and many more. Doing genocides had been their thing to solve a problem when they lived. And the source of the genocide was their hate for a certain community/group of people.

Churchill in his time, led to the Bengal Famine in India (Bharat) in 1943, and because of that more than 3 million people lost their lives. Giving the ideology that the state had too many people, to reduce the population, he executed that plan by blocking any food supply to that state and isolating it.

Many people might go against this article with this topic because for many he is a hero, but one big mistake is enough to tell the character of a human. We all know he always said that he hated Indians.

Bengal Famine 1943 (Bharat)

The ones who don’t know, please start reading about his words for Indians.

All these dictators and politicians, whatever you want to call them, are heroes for many people even today. Some will be very clear that they still think their ideology was good. Some will not say it out loud, but they are heroes to many.

Hitler was a hero for some, and a villain for some. Stalin was a hero for some and a villain for some. Churchill, Lenin, Mao Zedong, and many more. These people’s hate, and force of ideology on innocents, led to genocides or conversion to a certain group away from their homes.

It’s a Fact, I Guess You’ll Agree

Your good deeds cannot hide your bad ones, except for a realization, which has a possibility of equal to zero that those people ever realize that what they did was bad.

And your realization to be very honest cannot be seen by anyone except for God.

Those who believe in God can take this line into consideration. For those who don’t, it will be tough for everyone anyway.

One bad thing by you is enough to give your character an image…
