It’s very common to be not focused, even on the things you love to do.

I love doing music. I wanted my full focus on it, but I could never sit attentively a lot of times.

The reason for me was when I was doing music before, when I actually had no goal with it, just going with the flow, and singing whenever I wanted to, I was free at that time.

When I thought of making it a profession, I got nervous. That started holding me back. When I thought that I could actually make money with it, which would make me independent, and would help me to not go for regular 9–5 jobs, I got worried about the competition and things like that.

I wanted to write songs and make music. But I was always so scared of failing, that at that time I could never focus on the real thing, which was the process of learning.

There’s always something that holds us back from being successful.

That’s true that making money can give you success. Because money is a need, an important need.

There’s always something for a person that he or she loves to do.

But the responsibilities make their focus mess up.

No, responsibilities are not the problems, nor are you. You just need time to give focus to it.

21 Day Challenge

In just 21 days challenge is known to be one of the most effective practices. You can acquire or eliminate any habit you desire.

When you know you love something, but you don’t know why you’re not able to make it a habit of doing it forever, there’s probably a possibility that something in your mind is holding you back.

Start it from the first day, and count your days.

Just like you know, breathing is important, eating food is important, and sleeping is important, make that practice of yours one of those habits.

Let’s suppose, you have to study for an exam to crack it.

Sit for 2–3 hours, depending on you, to study.

If you can’t study, just study. If you can’t sleep just sleep, on time. If you can’t wake up in the morning to study, just wake up early but do it!

You have to force a habit on yourself to work it out.

Once you make it your breath and food, for 12 days, you can harden the practice or routine, but not a lot, but enough to make you just a little uncomfortable.

Make it a habit. Once you understand that you have to study for the exam, you will be scared to eliminate that habit.

You have to think in a way that you are already the person you want to become, and now it’s your job to continue what you want to do.

If you want to crack an exam for college, just consider that study like it’s your JOB to study those books, so that you can submit it on the final date.

Don’t think of it as something that is new to your life.

Think of it as it has always been there, and you’re just waking up and continuing it the next day.

That’s it!

After 21 Days

Now what,

Now you have reached the very 1st step of your goal. Making it a habit.

Now just keep yourself on track, and increase your level of studying of practicing according to yourself.

Just always remember, if you’re all comfortable in the process of preparation, then doubt your practice.

Because you should never be comfortable in the process of preparation.

Like you were not comfortable in those 21 days, but you made it…
