When we think of the first thought about creating content, what do we get in our minds? Something that must go viral.
Something that should catch other people’s eyes and minds. Something which will make people see it again and again.
Something which will have a lot of views and likes. Something that will get you famous.
Something making you famous and making your work’s demand among people go crazy.
Something different.
Something new.
Nowadays, when managers of an artist or content creator ask them for content, some of them request that they provide something that goes viral. We all understand that viral content is essentially what appeals to the audience. It goes viral after the audience embraces it; it’s not as simple as pressing a button to trend.
Creating content is an art. But to what extent has this art gone? That cringe and copied content is becoming more viral nowadays.
Recently, a so-called content creator, I won’t say his name, has been getting viral, for doing something “unique”.
He just throws himself in the gutter sometimes. Sometimes he pours shampoo on himself and screams.
Doing stupid things. Doing things that will make you feel super cringe.
Whenever he donates something to the poor, he showcases it in his videos. He shows himself eating on the ground, with his cameraman saying, “See people, after providing food for 30 people, he’s sitting here on the road eating dumplings .”
And he is getting recognition for doing these things, that even though he is poor, (which now he is not, he is rich because of the earnings he got through these things) he is doing these things to people.
This article will only help those, who really want to create quality content, and not the content that people want nowadays. If you really wanna learn the content I mentioned above, then it’s actually super easy. Just go to YouTube, and you’ll find tons of videos explaining how to get viral like that.
Good things take time and let’s be practical, good things can even take forever sometimes. But I don’t believe that it will not give you anything.
Good things give you your name. A name you can be proud of. It gives you a title, a title you can actually feel like owning.
You might be like, “Oh why are you judging someone like that.”, oh for god’s sake let them feel bad about it. A sweet and sugary world doesn’t help anyone grow. In fact, it never helps anyone grow.
How Do I Make a Unique Content?
Well. I think, there are 2 types of people. People who make content for others, and want to make quality content so people like it.
And the other ones, who just want to make content of their own choice, and want people to love it. And this one can be a little difficult.
There’s not much difference between those people, because both of them require patience and focus.
I am not going to share, how to market your content to people. But I will tell you how to create real content.
We should always remember that art is always created with a free mind.
When your mind is light and you’ve kept your stress aside, your brain will help you create good stories and content.
To think original, and create something out of the box, you need a healthy and light mind.
You need your brain and your soul to see the outside world.
Go Out
See the colors outside. An original content consists of a new color or new idea. Or if it’s the same idea, then it is presented in a different and new way, which makes it better than the original sometimes.
Your mind should keep seeing something you have not seen before. Here I do not mean electronic items. But just anything.
You have seen the faces of your family millions of times by staying home every day. Go out and see new faces. I do not mean, to abandon your family. Go see a new tree, which has a slight difference. In everything, there’s something unique.
Point out that uniqueness, and observe how it is different from the other trees. The way you see things, actually makes you imagine new scenarios. Fill your brain every day with some new imagination, even if it’s like a drop from the ocean, just take it.
Those different drops from different oceans will fill your mug one day, which will give you a very different thought. A new thought every day.
Observe
Observe people and their reactions to things. See what makes an introvert different from an extrovert. And what makes an extrovert different from another extrovert.
Try to understand the psychology of someone. Rather than advising someone, listen to him and see what he actually wants.
See a new sky every day and how it changes its color. Trust me, the sky’s color changes every day and is never the same.
Sometimes the difference isn’t visible, but even if it’s 0.0000001% unique, it’s unique.
You don’t have to look at things in the same way. Try to find something different every time you see something. This habit of yours will keep your mind curious and will let you think differently and create something different.
Play Along With Nature
Let that sunlight be on your face. Feel the weather, and let the weather change your mood according to it sometimes. Close your eyes, and then open them wide to see the world. And the look at the sky, and close your eyes again. Squeeze your eye muscles and then open them wide again.
Think of flying. Think if you could fly in the sky. Look at the sky and think if you could just walk in the air and look at the world from above.
Think what you would do if you could fly.
You must be thinking, how will this help you create unique content?
But this will.
Thinking in this way will break the limits of your imagination. You have to break all the barriers in front of you to create something new.
With the imagination of no limits, you will be able to ‘Think Out Of The Box’.
When you’re doing all of this, it’s important to let the outside vibe affect your brain, and actually wash your inside thoughts and get replaced by the new ones.
Let your soul feel fresh. Let it bathe under the rain of new clouds.
How Is My Content Unique?
What do I mean by, ‘thinking out of the box’ and how do we know that the content we will create, will actually be mind-boggling?
When I say ‘think out of the box’, it actually means, think that you haven’t ever thought before. Give your mind new things every day. Make your mind colorful.
Provide your mind with every color, so that when it paints, you don’t miss any important color.
Your content is always unique. But remember, your content is actually unique among the unique content out there by many people.
So do not think of creating something that has never been made by anyone. But think of creating something YOU have never created.
That is how it is unique. That is how it will bring a flavor to it.
All of the new things in the world that have been created were successful because their creators’ initial thought was to create something different from what they had ever thought of before.
Their second thought might have been to create something to create something no one has ever created.
But to think new, you need to have a mind to create something different. And that does not come with the mindset of winning a competition (thinking you have to do better than someone).
You have to do better than someone, but that someone is YOU.
It is a competition indeed, but a competition with yourself of patience.
Only this way you can make something ‘Out Of The Box’.
